Help please reading HC68HC908AZ with UPA-S

Hi everyone,

I m trying to read a HC68HC908AZ MCU (Mask 3K85K)

I can get UPA to start setting up Baud rate but after a while it comes back with errors.

Do I need to fully connect all 8 pins of MCU or just certain ones?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Use all connections sometimes you need to pick up a pin which lowers the value.
The values ​​on individual pins are listed in the Connections button
Sometimes you have to desolder the mcu and put it on the adapter

Just managed to read it.
Only getting a small area of data at line 200 to 220

Could that be why eeprom is corrupt?
Should I try and read from a good PCB I have have here?
Is there no need for security bytes with just the eeprom section?

Sckuryty bytes UPA should communicate about the application

Tried those sec bytes but still getting verify errors

Are the multimeter measurements on the mcu pins correct?


You did it all correctly and it does not read, change the programmer or desolder the mcu and put it on the adapter
