Switch radio ON, display shows "KEY CODE"

Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st digit
Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd digit
Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd digit
Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th digit

Press preset "6" to enter the code.

Is this how you enter the code and confirm it? If so and it doesn't work, then the radio was decoded in the past and the original code was replaced with another one! Another thing I remember is that these radios probably wanted 2x +12V. and 2x GND!! Best to try it in the car!
