2.0 TDI BKD A3 8P 2004 ECU STAGE 1

I am looking for information because I have decided to do a stage 1 on my A3 8P and I have found a lot of information over time but very diffuse.
I have several maps but they are from cars that are not A3 or with different ECU references.
If according to bosh the ECUs are compatible, does the map work even if they have different references?
I would appreciate the help and if someone wants to share a map with me I would be delighted, I want to have all the information possible to make my custom map

first read you cars stock file then work from there.

It would be nice if I had the knowledge but I would start from 0 with absolutely no references as testing and differentiating is tricky. That's why I posted the post. To begin with, I would like to know how to differentiate the validity of one control unit from the other to know if a map is valid for a different control unit for which it is made, even if it is the same engine and year.
