Dash swap Audi A4 RB8 into RB4 car

Hi,

i have a Bosch RB8 from a 2007 A4 with colour display highline etc with no known PIN or SCK.

If i'm able to exctract the SCK from the new dash will it work with the 2002 immo?

The original dash is:
Controller: 8E0 920 950 F
Component: KOMBI+WEGFAHRS. RB4 D27

Have already had it connected and it works fine, it just kicks the immo in when you try to start the car.

Would i have to kill the immo to get it to work do you think?

For read pin code you need use software like edc16calculator or similar, and this not change dunp only read.
Immo kiler is for put immo off.

Of course it is possible to extract pin with the right tools.
If you extract the login from the rb8 and from your rb4 you can try to adapt it with vcds. don't know if it works but maybe the rb8 with wfs4c is backwards-compatible

No ,if you immo is off why you need to pin code?

Or do you just do the manual sync for the keys so they still unlock the car remotely?

For Audi old type till 2004 year are megamos chrypto chips ,for neu shape new mgamos chrypo ,ill dont think that new dash will take old chips.

remotely car will unlock anyway ,because radio remote not in dashboard.

if you adapt one RB4 on a RB8 car, climatronic won't work since motor is running , i shutts off

Eg: with ignition on , all funcions on clima are ok, since you start motor clima jumps to OFF and no other function is available

that's right.

I suggest to leave cluster as is because is not possible to swap these clusters one with other.
I think you want swap clusters only because RB8 looks better then RB4..
