Hi all,
I hope somebody can help me here.
My friend can't pass the MOT because of wrong Vin in the Ecu. Car was bought without keys and he put in an ecu from another car.
I tried to change the Vin in the virtual EEprom (in extFlash) at D650. Car starts and shuts off after few seconds.
Copying the area 0-190000 from ori to donor ecu results in no crank.
I suppose the chk is wrong but my tools dont cover the EEprom area...
Attached both ecus. VIN has to be changed in the donor file from 1A8G6E7M57Y573984 to 1A8G6E7M27Y556866
