Srs light off in vw golf IV

Hi guys. Can i permanently turn off the airbag light on the dashboard using odis engineer or normal odis?

Rafal, customer want to turn off the light by softare, not repair problem. I know this is not correct way but what can i do..

Hi! He is attacking me so i'm replying. Im sorry. So, do you know how i can make it? I know that this is not correct way, i should repair airbag system but customer won't let me do this. He only want me to turn off the light by software. Can you give me advice? its 1999 golf IV 1.9 tdi. Thanks so much!

open dash, look for srs light, tape it.....simple solution if custumer doesnt want to spend money.

why is the srs light on ? if it is a specific airbag you maybe be able to deactivate it through VCDS or odis , set it to reserve . highly recommend you dont though , customer may want this but when it goes wrong the fingers will all point at you
