customer lost remote part, its the old 2005 keyless go system with nob on steering coloumn, uk model,

does anyone know how to program a new proxy remote part, he has the blade with chip still to start car

is it manual process or need to learn it wit ha tool? thanks

its manual , but theres a number of slightly different procedures dependent on system fitted , all similar with slight procedure differences.
common one is

sit in drivers seat with doors closed but unlocked
insert blade in ignition
press door lock switch to lock and unlock 3 times
press drivers door switch to lock
remove and reinsert key blade 4 times
turn key on and start engine for 3 seconds
turn ignition off
door locks should now cycle and a buzzer may sound
press any button on the remote to program
door locks should cycle again
switch ignition on and off to close programming

this is 1 of the variations of the process theres a number of slightly different variations

yepp, no need to unlock
