AUDI A3 2009 - cooling fans keep running

AUDI A3 - 2.0 TDI - 100KW - 2009 - MANUAL GEAR

ECU = 03L906022QT 3608

ign ON, engine OFF : all oke
ign ON , engine RUN : the 2 COOLING fans start running (cold or hot engine, same problem)
ign OFF, engine OFF : the 2 cooling fans keep running for 9 minutes, and then stop

ecu already "back-to-stock", same problem

what could be wrong ?

i forget to add the engine DTC :

EGT sensor is broke i think, it shows 930 °C ... could this make the fans running ?

no egt fault dont start fan

I see one vw caddy 2009 with egt sensor broken and don’t have any problem with fan

But if you have problem with Ecu posible fan run all the time I put a new Ecu for it in a touran Edc16u1 jijijij this ecu don’t have egt sensor

Some ECU starts fans when is problem with EGT sensor / bad removed DPF from software.

Also check engine temperature. When Sensor is broken and engine don't have ~90°C for long time ecu can starts fans because see problem with temperature starts fans just in case ;)

bad remover in edc16????? jijijiji edc16 vag is swich bite , i think you study a lot of .but worked less

I thinked it's edc17 ecu. You re right, in edc16 this problem does'nt exist.

In edc17 don’t exist this problem too with Dpf but yes th is is a edc17cp14
