original kess v2 slave unit

hi im thinking of getting an original KESS V2 SLAVE as prices are becoming very cheap. and my chinese v2 needs reworking. what are the pros and cons on doing this. can i rework thr files myself or can i use the cracked sofware v2.80 and just have the reliablitiy of the original kit... thanks
Also can anyone know how to rework an original kess v2 slave into a master/clone .. as I want to be able to have the reliability of an oem tool.. thanks in advance

i believe you need to swap the nxp from clone as its master and then just sd card files and should be a more stable clone. still a clone however so some things maybe unstable.
