As I understand it.. this radio requires two codes, and the first requested is the Siemens code.... which is only obtainable from the main dealer..

There is threads on DK, where a member has managed to recover code from 'dumps'... you may wish to search for this, if you have the equipment to read dumps.

Yes, its 2*4 digits codes: 1st for Becker, 2-nd for Siemens. For Siemens navi code isn`t necessary. For old BE2569 it is simply find code with calck and s/n. For BE2580 is only one way --read flash AM29F400 or AM29F800 and find in dump code (but you need to know algorithm). Or rewrite with known code.
Two members from DK: DECOCO (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/members/103907-decoco/) and deffc0n (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/members/66607-deffc0n/) says that thay can find code for BE2580 only by serial number. I find this BE2580, BE2582 and BE2569 Workshop Decode Service. (http://www.rampantapathy.co.uk/index.php?target=products&product_id=26#discussion)
This leads me to the decision that it is calk for BE2580 and 2582. If it is possible, I would be very grateful for this calk. ( I can send Vodka :) )
PS From Belarus with love...
