I have an old DW2.0 image on my Dreambox 500C which works fine in every way except for the File Mode. As per the Devilfish sticky, I have set-up recording to a NAS unit and this part all works fine. I can see the recordings on the NAS unit and play them back on a networked PC using VLC.
I was hoping to play them back using the DM500 but when I go into the File Mode option on the Dreambox, I am presented with a blank screen and cannot see the recordings. It hasn't locked up because I can bring up the DVR controls and the Menu key still works but the screen itself pretty much blank. If I use the <> keys either side of the 0 key, I can see individual files in the /var/keys/ directory but other than that, I cannot see any other way of getting access to the files, never mind the actual recordings.
Any ideas what may be wrong? Thanks in advance.
