    Problems with dreambox signal

Hi all, I have recently purchased a used dreambox and I have a problem with signals in it. Initially, I had a 80 cm dish, and I used to blame that for the poor signal, given that I had put three LNBs in it. But then, I changed the dish and got a 1.10 m dish and the problem persists. Signal is strong with French bouquets, but it's poor with German and Italian ones. Another thing that I must mention is the fact that if I restart the dreambox by taking the power supply lead off and then putting it back on, the signal is fine for a little way and then it does the same thing. Could anyone advise me? Thanks

First port of call change the power supply it can be accounted for most things and its cheap.
Might be worth reflashing. Some images have option in tuner config to increase power to lnb. Ive seen this on a few images.
    It might help.

Thanks. I was thinking to use another tune receiver, given that they say dreamboxes have problems with these things and given that I have a fine signal on french channels. The other thing is that I'm not that much of an expert on reflashing and things like that. Hopefully, by using another receiver which is stronger, the problem will be fixed. Please tell me what you think of this.

Your box should be fine to pick up most depending on where you live or the size of your dish. Some dreambox tuners are weaker than others the M801a is the better one.
Maybe its not your box and the dish needs tweaking.
