DM500 Help Needed

just been given a DM500. the epg is working but it wont open any channels. i have downloaded dreamup but what do i flash it with. i have a null modem cable which i use on my eurovox. also do i erase the flash on it before i reflash it. many thanks sorry being a numti

i wouldnt say you are a numpty, the dreambox can be a little daunting for 1st time users. download the dk v1.1 image from this site

if you dont have an image with the keys installed you will need to ftp these over with a crossover cable if your box is connected directly to the pc

You can't get an image with keys as that is not allowed to be posted. If you follow the guides you will be fine.You are better off learning to do it the hard way than the next time your box goes you will be able to sort it yourself.
