only getting fta on 500c

tried few images on 500c all seem to work fine.
Prob is I'm only getting fta even after copying the var and scce files over by ftp.
Am I missing something out?
Any help appreciated.

you could have a bad set of files, its easy for someone to send you a copy of ones that wont work.

go on sky sports 1 , and wait for a minute. If it still wont open, re start the cam.

It might be that you have not got a cam installed.

Install evocamd from your remote control, i think its the blue or yellow button to open the addons panel.

If you ftp to your box, and open the keys folder. There are 3 files, autorol.key, autoupdate.key and softcam.key. If you right click on them and choose edit the autoupdate and autoroll.key should have a list of roms in them. The softcam.key file should have the 2 important lines of keys and should tell you the date they were last changed.

If you got these like i mentioned, then you deffo need a cam installed.

evocamd 2.12 for DK image works fine

never used or even seen a 500 but from what i have read on here it comes with evocam 2.12 installed already in the image

you need to turn the cam on it is probably one of the colour buttons maybe blue you need to select evocam as it will probably stuck on common interface

just had a little read about its yellow button not blue brings up a manager suite or something like that i think you can pick your cam from there

what do you get when you press yellow button you may need to hold it down for a couple of seconds

i get a menu but nothing for that

scratch that m8 hold down info instead it will come up

yes its there. started evocam stuck it on sky 2 and 30 seconds later all working.
