Record to network mount can it work?

I have setup a network mount on my PC and can play mp3's ect ect, I have then setup recording on my dbox to direct record and set the mount permissons to rw, however when im recording it says it cannot write it fast enough, is there a way around this or is a limitation on the network card in the dbox???

Try using cabled connections rather than a wireless bridge for your box or a wireless pc for the recording.
    It can and does work.

Thats strange. Is spts mode on? Have you tried more than one image?
Mine is working ok, and I record alternate audio streams too, so definitely bandwidth to spare.
