Flashing Dbox using Vista

Hi I am totaly new to this and have looked at all the guides but have been unable to put a new image on my dbox is there an alternative to hyperterminal in windows vista or another method I could use I have a laptop and rs232 cable any help would be apreciated

i use filezilla for ftp-ing to the dbox, its free and works flawlessly mate. Google filezilla and download it and give it a try
