newcamd and mgcamd

playing about with an old d-box i had with the new commando image on it and was going to load newcamd and mgcamd to it and also newcamd.config can i do it like its done on a dreambox were i can put the .tar files in to tmp and do a manul install or do i have to ftp the files over 1 at a time

wouldn't bother with newcamd it doesn't work anymore. Just use ftp and put the cam in var/bin/emu and chmod755 it.

Don't think he wants to use newcamd in the sense that you're thinking...more so for cardsharing.

You probably won't be able to do a manual install because the folder structure in the tar needs to be the same as the image and coming from a dreambox, chances are it won't be.

Just extract the tar on your PC using WinRar and put the var folder on your desktop. Now use your ftp program to put the files in the correct folders on the dbox.
