    DBOX LOCKED UP

    Hi I have just tried flashing a new image to my dbox and on reboot it has locked up ie the screen is frozed even after unpluging and switching on again any ideas

    Could be a bad flash...it happens, you may need IFA to reflash it. Can you get anything, even ftp to it ???

      Hi no the box will not even start now it has writing on the screen but just sits and doesn,t go any further.

        you'll need to use IFA to reflash it and make sure you get the right image....ie 1x or 2x

          Your only option is IFA m8, best to use it with a null modem cable but if you dont have one it will work with just a crossover cable but can be hit and miss and may take you a good few attempts.

              Image Flash Assistant. go to the download section, Dbox and other. you will find the IFA. try to use a router if you are not good with Network settings.
