    Help a distressed Dboxer!!

Guys Flippy here! I have recently flashed Commando v10 x1 onto my Sagem Dbox. I thought the flash went ok until I rebooted the box. I see the intial LCD boot up screen with that amazing sequence of the woman walking up to the screen and kissing it but after a few seconds the LCD freezes and I cant the dobx is dead. I have tried to use IFA to load my old image but even thats not doing anything now! I have flashed this box a 100 times and this is the first time I am coming up against a brick wall!

    Can anyone help????

Have you tried re-flashing with the commando 10 x2 image?

How would that help? I am using IFA portable and thats not even picking up the dbox! Does the Commando v10 image have a default IP address that I can ping/connect to?

I don't have a null modem on my laptop. Can I still use null modem mode?

Well the answer to your question is no you cant use null modem transfer unless you have a null modem on your plc/laptop.

Are you using the same method to flash that you used when you put the image on initially? Seems odd that IFA is not picking it up since it gets way past the initial boot process.

The 1x image is ok, if it had been a 2 chip box you would not get as far as a logo.

I had that problem where the flash went o.k but when switch box on would'nt go past image screen. So just flashed another image and worked.
