Hi all , I have tried using the DboxTV 2.0.1.1 and installed everything fine, followed the tutorial to the letter but when I connect to the box I get all the channel info etc but no stream and an error message saying : no stream available ( wrong lokal ip) It seem that the connection is there as I get EPG and channel list etc but no picture. Would anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong, thank`s in advance.



edit : Do I need yweb installed on the Dbox?

Hi m8, my Dbox is working fine it`s the small PC Programme DboxTV that allows streaming from your box to your pc that I am having trouble with.

I have a new fixed image ( Virgin 2.1 lite) on my Sagem 1x.

I get this when I setup my pc network card to obtain the IP address automatically (when setup to connect the the web). It works when you specify an address though e.g. 198.168.1.7.

Not sure how to set it up so I can get do both though???

I get this problem too and my ip is specified. If you do dynamic you need to tell the program which ip you have each time. Other than that I cannot see how it would influence the workings of the program.

I have a specified IP on my wireless router and on the Dbox but my modem obtains an IP. As I said earlier I can see all the EPG info etc but no picture or sound.
I use Vista, I am beginning to wonder if it`s a problem with that.


Edit: Just checked it again and the programme is pinging the box ok ( Succesful) but still an error message " no stream available( wrong lokal ip? )

Its not Vista, DBox TV does work with this, i have it running OK ( bar the issue with no sound on some channels )

Double check SPTS is on for streaming and ucode 0014

never used dboxtv but wingrabtv works in conjuction with vlc

I dont get any images my but it say`s Playing HTTP Streaming and some numbers.
I am normally not bad at stuff like this but I am lost with this.

I pm`d the guy who posted the d/load for DboxTV and he replied saying to reset all setting on VLC and it should kick in, but when I done that I couldnt get a connection at all.

not sure exactly on that image but will be there somewhere in the settings menus, maybe boot and driver options or in the reordings settings menu

Found it , it was in the driver and boot options. Turned it on and the screen went blank, tried dbox tv and still same problem. I have not tried spts and ucode 014 yet . I will try that tomorrow. Thank for your help m8.

have u tryd changin cam to evocamd then reset leave on a decoddin channel 4 2 mins n shud work

same here it connects then lokal ip fail .
so then tried neutrino but got no sound with that on most channels.
Then after lots of searching i found this.
