No channels again, could this be an image fault?

    Hi, all,
The senerio; the picture froze, rebooted. The result was no channels found, scan needed.

This happened about a week ago, managed to ftp a service file over to get the IFA chs, then restarted the EMU to get back all the channels. The box is sagem, the image is lincsat beta 7.25. is anyone out there experiencing anything like this?
Is anyone familar with this image?

Youve really got to try different images m8 sounds like a tuner fault but sometimes some images can sort it.

    Hope this helps

    Cheers

I had a very similair problem with Lincsat`s image , I actually lost all channels one time just by going into Bouqet editor. I have read a few threads from Lincsat and it is to do with the image not AU ( auto updating) properly.

Inow run \/irgin 2.1 lite with very few problems, there is the odd channel freeze etc but nothing too heavy.

Sounds like a problem that crops up from time to time, area to area. I had same problem yesterday although only needed to do a full re-scan to get channels back. Been fine since.
I use Commando v10 and I am more than happy with the image.
It seems that my area code had changed so have to select nearest area to work. I did a full scan anyway.
Hope this might help a little.
