## New Commando 10c image.. back to JFFS2##

Thanks to all the team for their work on the update - it's not often one can see such quick turn around on updates.

I installed the new image and noticed that while the EPG 7 day feature works with 'Eventlist current program' it doesn't with 'Eventlist overview' which to be honest is what I've always been using.

On another note I noticed that the only uCode that seems to work with recording to HDD is the 'uCode Built-in', the uCode0014 and uCode001A both cause image and sync problems.

I noticed that the 'Unsorted' Bouquet has re-appeared - and worked out why I was unable to see any radio stations previously..which isn't a problem anylonger

(for those still on version 10b - the list of radio programs need to belong to a bouquet for you to be able to see them - by default the channels on my box were 'unsorted' and this was not visible in v10b, but I was able to get around this be a complete re-scan and offline edit of the bouquets to add the channels to a new bouquet)

If I discover any other issues I'll let you know..

I shouldn't have spoken so soon..the 'uCode Built-in' is still causing sync problems although not as bad as the other uCode settings.

In the end I needed to activate 'Write Synchronous (fdatasync) to avoid the problem - unfortunately this also results in much more HDD activity and thus noise too, which is a bit off putting during more quiet moments.

I'm going to try to reflash with an earlier image to double check the Direct Recording Settings to see whether there were any differences.

Renwich - which version of NFS is installed in the image? In the Help option in 'Recording Settings' it says NFS v2 is limited to 2Gb files, whereas v3 is unlimited..I just wanted to make sure I have the right setting. Also could this version of NFS be likely to be causing sync read/write problems - can you advise which files I could replace from an earlier 'good' image to test if this is the problem?

Its the default out of the CVS version, all I've done is include it. and not strip it out

Great image... just moved from Virgin+ image. So far so good, hopefully it'll be as steady as the last image I had on. Great work by the way lads!

HI...wonder if anyone could help me am so confused have been trying for weeks and still cannot get my channels back , have downloaded this commando 10 and flashed the image i think i have files missing cause have done everything it says to do but still want find any channels , i have a nokia dbox 2 i think this image is the right one yea? or do someone suggest i use another image , please be patient with me cause i am a woman but i know i could do it if i had some help from some kind person . when i had this problem before when the channels went off in april i done it no problem i used sportster pro and this time i flashed commando 10 but when scanned after doing it there are no channels ...please anyone

Have you set your location in the blue button menu / commando system menu
Have you added the required files to the image, ie. keys and emu

i had some problems with commando 10 as well....(am not too technical myself) i would suggest sticking to the image that was working for you before as all the files required are there and all you need to do is update the nagrarom7 file. it should all work fine.

For educational purpose, where does one place the keys?

I know you can place the evocamd in the /var/bin/emu folder and set the permissions to 755 and you can enable on the box.

In the downloads section, there is no option to download a 1x or a 2x image on Commando 10c.

Will this image work on both chipsets?
