Guys I have the sportster 1.75 image and would like your suggestions whether it worth upgrading?
I have commentary on films.

If I ftp into the box can I delete all files and add the commando image, or is there something else I will have to do?

hi what does epg not available mean am trying to do this commando 10 image on nokia dbox 2 am having probs and yes have been reading through what exactly do i add to commando 10 image and where do i find them its only easy when u know it and i dont know am so stuck ...anyone please

hi i downloaded the commando 10 image i really cant get my head around it is it true what peeps say this image is only for the peeps who are more advanced they say try another image so i thought i try lakys one now i flashed that one it comes up error in the ifa and i used the 2 chip image for nokia dox2 as it is 2 chip what am i doing wrong i cant get anything now as with commando 10 i had bbc1 etc but couldent get any other channels thats why i give up on commando i wish someone could pm me and help me though it i have read through the threads since november am jus getting no where

If you flashed laky 2x image on a nokia then that is correct, if as you say you are getting error then flash laky again useing IFA, may have been just a bad flash, as the laky image is fine

hi i flashed lakys image with ifa used fxp try transfer rom 7 and i noticed no folders showing on there no var tmp file folders etc and it coming up with channel not available wat am i doing wrong

i sooooooo need help is there a image anywhere where the files etc are already in the image cause i am so confused with this transfering thing would be good if i knew what i got to transfer ....please am only a woman

it is not true that Commando is for advanced users.

it is true that you have to copy 9 files acrcoss via ftp

(hint 8 files to the keys folder)

(hint evocamd to /var/bin/emu)

1 file needs to be chmod 755

ps the "I'm only a woman" statement is not an excuse, blokes have the same issues

If you're running evocamd only- then just 5 files need to go into the /var/keys folder.

nagrarom7.bin (Cydine's 28 Nov 'fixed' ver)

And that's it! No chmod stuff needed in there at all.

evocamd itself needs to be chmod 755 via FTP (or locally, using TuxCom)- otherwise it won't work. (755 makes it 'executable' - whereas the default 644 cannot execute). When evocamd AU's - it creates a new Keylist.txt file in the /keys folder.

I wonder what the other 3 files are that Renny is using? Cheers- AL

Great image thanks! The only problem I have is I cannot for the life of me get a 7 day EPG. I have switched it on, rebooted and left on standby for 5mins atleast then switched back on but alas no 7 dy EPG. I have never used a 7 day EPG before. It will most probably be something simple I am missing out so any help will be appreciated. :-)

You dont leave it on standby m8 you have to go to PVR_EPG channel for 5 min or so to get the 7 days.

Best to do as al suggested in the rite up and set up timers to do this for you when you are in the land of nod
