    Please help an idiot out

    Hi all,

I am a noob with a DBOX2. I have tried following all of the guides I can find but I cannot seem to get anything but FTA so I must be missing something.

Basically what I have done is loaded Commando 10b then copied evocamd217c to emu and These files to the correct location I think then rebooted on sky sports 1 and left for ages but I still only get FTA.

Do I need something else? Is there an easier way or an easier image?

    Please help

    Now Fixed, Thanks MetMan

Did you chmod the cam files to 755?

I did try but for some reason I am having problems with FTP, I am uploading files and they only partially upload so the file sizes are different and then when I try to upload again it is failing, my chmod is failing also and I cannot delete the file which did upload. I have tried both manually setting the IP and connecting with a crossover cable and setting to DHCP and connecting via my router. I have tried uploading from both my PC and my laptop. same thing happens no matter what I do. I am using Filezilla.

Sounds like your image as gone read only m8, reflash it again and start from scratch.
