You may have used the wrong image 1x or 2x
you may be using the wrong image 1x or 2x it will hang like that if you have flashed a wrong image. Is your box a 1chip or 2 chip if you flash a 1chip with a 2x flash it will hang.hi,
didn't work for me, followed all the steps - all seemed good and thought that it would work, however when I restarted the box the same problem remained - i.e LCD screen Stuck on 5 blocks , showing the software version/data etc.....
tried twice, and various other methods using IFA...if there is anything else I can try let us know, otherwise I think thats it for old dear, she'll be spending christmas in a dark, damp skip........aloneLast edited by robbeye; 22 December, 2008, 22:30.Comment

all went well until last bit
cp.l 120000 10020000 1F8000
Wait untill it says Done.
10 mins went by with just cursor flashing
Do I need to be in debug mode?Comment

finally said done, but did not seem to work.
LCD lights up, with some code on front, but does not boot up and I cant try again now as it does not seem to switch on and off from buttonComment
