Dbox2 Problems

after alot of hours trying different images, adding rom files etc my box still doesnt work.

i'm pretty sure its to do with the tuner now.

i got some freeview channels to work once on the commando by putting the signal into the box without a splitter, but the picture wasnt right with slight freezing. and if the splitters put back on, the freeview channels dont work.

theres nothing wrong with the signal, so i think its the tuner.

as it did receive some free channels on 1 occasion i'm thinking the tuner isn't completely broken?? and wondered if its possible that there maybe a loose connection?? or an easy fix??

Did it ever work? Do you have a proper sub on the line you are trying it on?
When you get the freeview channels check the signal strength my pressing red then blue.

140 59881 45746 4829
70 59367 45489 4717 min
BER SNR SIG Bitrate

just tried an old dons v4 image with new roms and it came upwith all channels on scan but only some freeview worked all the rest were blank

did u leave it on a ppv chan sometimes takes a while to pick up

Dons v4 will still work with the new roms added. What camd are you using?
