sagem dbox2 ftp - same procedure as dreambox?

does anyone know if the same procedure to ftp to a dreambox will work to ftp a sagem d box

Yes, it is exactly the same method.

Only the password is different.

Dreambox
username: root
password: dreambox

Dbox2
username: root
password: dbox or dbox2

except the user/password which will be root and dbox2 rather than root and dreambox.

I use the firefox 'FireFTP' extention with no problems, the sign-on as others have mentioned is:-

user id root
password dbox2
