I uploaded the nagrarom 7 file to my dbox and rebooted it but it wont work at all now. the display on the box says kein system. It wont connect to the tv or to the pc. could you tell me how to fix it please.
Thanks
I would recommend you start with the lakey/sylus image. It is a bit easier to set up and first class image all the files you need can be found on here. C10 is a bit advanced for a beginner.
are you using a null modem cable as well as a crossover/ethernet cable(depends on which one you use when connecting box straight to a pc or through a router). also try a different version of IFA
Im using a xover cable on the lap top as the null modem cable with usb converter wont work. The null modem rs232 cable will work on the desktop but I have no internet connection on there. When I connect with xover on laptop all it says is "waiting for dbox to start" but it wont start. Ive tried fatman x1 and fatman x2 images and two different IFAs.
Use this version of ifa you wont need a null modem cable remember to tick that you wont be using one. Give your network card a static ip address and set the speed to 10mbps half duplex. Have the dbox switched on when you start up ifa. When ifa says press yes to start the flashing process, press yes then restart the dbox by holding the power button and the up button down till it reboots, you may have to do this several times.
