    Some channels are Ok others are NOT???

    Hi all

    I made a backup image of my box (working perfect on ALL channels) and coppied it onto another box! I expected to just boot it and all would be well!!

    Some channels are fine ie most movie channels are OK etc however, most of the sports channels do not work! On Sky sports 1 I get noise for the image and some distorted sound!!

    I have also just noticed that on ALL working channels the image and sound freeze for a split second about every five seconds or so!!

    I am unable to scan has when I try I get NO transponders on ANY settings!!!

    I was suspecting a dodgy tuner - what are your thoughts please???

    PS The image on the box is Blade 2

      Sounds like it could be a dodgy tuner, try a booster to see if it improves.

          Have you checked all your connections are solid. A loose connection can cause this problem. Take all splitters out and connect directly and see if that helps.If not try another image.

              Thanks for the suggestions chaps - I'm going with the knackered tuner!!!

                  Does sound like a box with a dodgy tuner but try playing around with the Ucodes as these can have a huge effect on the efficiency of the tuner, if that fails then you could try an alternative image, if it's still poor then invest in a wee amp to boost the signal.

                      mostly depends on image. I had a problem with the lincsat image, get some channels then loose the sound or and picture at times. So just changed image and all is well.

                          guys what about my problem i have a working box in my house i get everything but wgen i take it to my mates place, no channel apart from sly1 works..??

                          very confusing.. n e body got any ideas....??
