i cant ftp new roms because, wen i conect the ethernet cable to the box an pc it doestnt pic up anything (LAN). i hav tryid puting in the ip adrress put it still dont work pleas help

As above m8. Ethernet is no good you need crossover cable and make sure firewalls are disabled.
