    second dbox

    hi all just wanted to know how far away from the first dbox is it possible to run a second, i want to put one in a back room, can boost the signal, just wanted to see if any one else has done it

    Ive got 2 running in my front and back living rooms with no problems. I didnt even need to boost the signal.

      You can use another box anywhere in the house no problem. You'll need a slitter and some good quality cable.

        I have 1 upstairs & 1 downstairs no bother & no boost needed

            You don't need a splitter for this. The TV socket on the dBox2 is not RF, but simply a digi pass-through. So your second box can be fed directly from this socket.

            The only thing you cannot do with this setup is to split to a cable modem at the second box, as the TV socket is not two-way comms.
