    Hi kayamac, have you made sure that your dchp setting on you box is on, also start a network connection and then check the ip address on your box. use this addy in fxp and set "username" as root and pass as dbox

        Setup your PC network IP as follows:

        check your Box IP ok will be something like this.

        IP = 192.168.1.20 now setup your PC network IP 1 digit less at the end OK

        if dbox IP is:..................192.168.1.20

        PC IP network should be: 192.168.1.19

        Flash FXP setup should correspond to dbox IP: 192.168.1.20

        Username:= root
        Password:= dbox or dbox2

          sorry but really going nuts here , i followed the fxp set up and get connected into the dbox2 but the connection keeps dropping constantly, rebooted router, dbox everything, but still drops.earlier this evening managed to get in and stay connected and deleted the key folder, and was in the process of importing latest var files back into folder, but since then cant get a stable connection in2 dbox2

          Just did a ping to mydobx2 and via my laptop and all packets are being lost at a rate of 100%

            turn your firewall off and try. you can connect, as you say you have, so connections not the prob.

            try it and report back.
