Why do you use Dbox2?

I'm new to the scene, and trying to figure out what box to go for. From what I gather, it's pretty much just personal preference.

What's the pros and cons of Dbox2, and why do you choose it over the other boxes available?

My personal fav is the eurovox mate, but each to ther own.

Most other boxes are plug n play. The Dbox is Linux based and can do much more than some other boxes. You can record directly to pc or hard drive Stream movies to your pc and lots of other things.
I believe the dreambox can do all this too now but the Dbox is the Grandaddy If all's you want to do is plug in and watch tv then go for Starview etc.
