leaving ethernet cable plugged in, reboot box mate and take another look at the ip.

On the box, tick the box for DHCP then reboot the box, check the number then type that into your FTP software along with the username and password which will most likely be..

Username - root
Password - dreambox

Can you input your own ip?
you can input your own.You will need to go into the following

Menu-> 6 -> Expert setting-> Communication setup
Then set it to 192.168.0.24 sub net 255.255.255.0

Thought i'd put that in as i have had both passwords working. However still can't get the non fta channels to clear. Any ideas anyone? Iv flashed, updated softcams, but still descrambled.?
