If you want to connect straight to your pc then you need a xover cable
But you can go throw your router with a normal ethernet cable

hi im the same i have a sagem dbox, i thought i could plug it in but it didnt work, it says no epg whatever that is, i have ethernet cable and router can anyone advise what to do next thanks
