HELP ON FTP CONNECTION TO DBOX2

    Hi All

If anybody could shed some light on this matter I would be eternally grateful.

I am unable to obtain a stable connection once i have connected to the dbox 2 via my router on my network, via its eternet port.

Yesterday managed a secure connection long enough to delete the key folder vbut was unable nto get a stable connection to comlete the keys.var transfer.Channels on view are very limited and currently only a fraction of the freeview channels can be viewed.EPG listings are fine etc etc.

My first advice would be to try a different ethernet cable. If it's going through the router you can use a crossover ethernet cable or a standard patch cable.

I had a mate who had weird problems like that, slow ass transfer speeds, I'm talking 1/2kb/s . New cable and it was fine.

Personally, 1st thing I'd do is remove the router and try a direct connection, then as KAOS has said grab a new lead

Had this loads of times myself, pain in the arse.
