look thru the vents and see how many chips there are...or take the screws from the back and remove the cover....

          hi
1 you need to know what flash chips your dbox is (ie,1x 0r 2x ) to find out whitch
Grab a torch and shine it through the air vents at the top of the box. Try to
locate the chip(s). They?re about 1/3 from the top and ? way in from the left.
On a Sagem box, you have to look through the vents at an angle as they do
not cover the entire width of the box.
If you find it easier then just take the lid off the top of the box to locate the
chips. Do try to check the chips through the air vents first though as it will
save yourself the trouble of unscrewing the top.
Your chip configuration has a technical name associated to it. If you have two
Intel chips, then your configuration is referred to as 2xI. If you have only one
chip, then your configuration is referred to as 1xI.

2 then flash correct X's image with ifa

          hope this may help

If it is a Nokia then it's a 2x box.
If it is a Sagem then it could be either.

When your ready to flash your dbox, remember to use a network cable or a null cable.

However you can flash it wirelessly. Just connect your dbox to your wireless router.

Run the flashing program and it will connect. You may need to re-boot your dbox. (Or unplug and plug back in. the flashing should begin automatically)

Your image usually comes with no keys or roms, so you may need to manually add these files.
Here's a good tutorial that will tell you how to ftp to your dbox.

                  I hope this helps.

It took me a while to find all the info, but be patient, it well worth it.
