Just got Nokia DBOX2 back from repair. Got COMMANDO 8 image on it, but not getting any channels. When I go to service scan, this is the list

571000 is the same for gateshead and liverpool try fast scan on and off - chk connections for good signal

try the other freq 411000

If your having trouble m8, you might be just as quick reflashing with a different image. Have a look in the downloads section and flash a new image. It will only take a few minutes.

Dropped a boo boo trying to back up existing file. Cannot now access box via remote. is there a way I can re-flash & over write everything?????????

Download IFA from the downloads. connect box to pc with crossover cable load up image and reflash. Make sure firewalls are switched off.

Yes if box boots up.
If not then you will have to use IFA to flash your box

No m8 you need to see the menu on the box to reflash a new image. IFA is really simple to use. Just load the image of your choice connect xover cable and turn box on and it will say flashing.

Shall I delete everything from DBOX

have connected DBOX to lap top using X-over & FIlezilla, do I need to delete everything in the DBOX & then FTP image, how do I then get all the ppv channels?

I'm not sure what your saying m8. Can you access the menu on your dbox so when the image is on you can go to the option to flash a new image ? If you can't get to the menu you will not be able to flash new image. If this is the case then you can only use IFA.

No just flp new image to var/tmp then on remote press dbox button then go to service press on that then go to update/back up/restore press ok then press on flash read image then press on write one partition then press on flash without bootloader then hi-lite image press ok when flash as finished then press red button the box will reboot
