ITV 2 & 3 channels

Hi

I am running blade quad image and I was getting all the channels. But recently I have lost the ITV 2 and 3 channels.

I cannot rescan because of the blade quad image problem, I lose all the channels on rescan.

I am in Manchester area. Anybody seen this problem or know the fix.

i lost them on my dm, did not need to rescan, they were just coming in on another service. not sure how things work with dbox...

I checked my box and cannot find any channels in the unsorted list. Even the ITV 2/3 channel reference has disappeared!!!

if you leave your scan settings to leave to existing, then im sure a rescan will just overlook the existing and find the new ones.

Maybe someone can correct me if im wrong!

firstly back up your zapit folder (var/tuxbox/config ) to your pc
then on dbox
blue button set my location select your area
after box reboots press
dbox/services/ channel scan
pick tv and radio
bouqrts leave existing (or no change)
fast scan on
then (you can save setting if you wish) scan
if scan ok itv2/3 will be in unsorted

if it does not work using ftp program delete zapit folder
from dbox and tranfer saved zapit folder from pc
then at least you will still have the channels you have now

For pure 5401, they took them out of TSid 0005 and 0006, and bunged them both into TSid 004d, with ITV2 on Sid 1e18 and ITV3 on Sid 1e19

So it's easier just to edit your services.xml with Metapad, rather than ~~~~ about with Scan. 7 Day EPG users might need to tweak epgfilter.xml too, depending on which version they're running.

I just scanned and got bot ITV2 & 3 back.

In North Manchester Ex C&W. Both channels came in others with their respective identities.

The channels had disappeared but after 2 days they appeared in the unsorted list!!!

Everything is ok now.
