Please forgive my ignorance; bought dbox2 from ebay which opens up with blade trinity xenafan (which I believe is the image) . No joy with channels , all i get is blank screen and error message. tried to scan for them but didn't appear to find anything. Do i need to update my services file or is it something more horrific causing the problem. Any help would be much appreciated.

Press the blue button and choose the 'set my location' option if you see it. Choose the area closest to you and save. The box will probably reboot.
Go to service menu, turn fast scan on and start scan.
See if you get any channels after that. -
I have scanned as you suggested. Box certainly picked up all the channels you would expect, but still when I go to view them I keep getting message, "Error channel not available". How can I remedy this ?Comment

Try changing your image to commando. Its most likely that it still have Germany settings. Go to the download section and you will get lots of helpful info thereComment
