Nokia D-box2 with SAT terminals

My friend just gave me a dbox2 with SAT terminals at the back. He bought it from Germany and the seller told him that he was using it for Premeria Cable TV down there.

My question is will this box work with UK cable network or it needs Satelite dish?

Everything else is just the same except those 2 terminals at the back where you plug the cable feed.

Will it work in UK cable? thanks

this sounds like a dbox 1 with the sat tuner in them not sure about getting them up and running but i would say your chances are slim if it as been sold as a dbox 2 i would complain

Its a D-box 2 with an LCD screen. I understand the d-box 1 hasnt got an LCD. The box is already in d bug mode, it needs only an image and few files. Thats why i posted here to be sure of the right type of image

Just try the images in download section and see what happens. Does the box have rs232 port aswell as ethernet connection at back.

Yes the box do have erthenet and rs232 ports. I connected it to the computer and the flash assistant programme and bootmanager programmes are all picking it up

just flash a image across, you may need to add emus and keys depending where you get the image from. Just give it a try if it works your laughing....
