    no channels on sportster pro

    i am new to the dbox game. my dbox as sportster pro but the last few days i have had no channels. does that mean i have to put a new image or do have to change the softcams please help.

    Download the keys folder from the link in this post.

    Ok guys and gals...I know some of you are still having problems with the auto updating of your keys. You will need to be comfortable with ftp'ing files to your dreambox for this to work. Delete everything in your /keys folder. Extract the /keys folder from the rar. Copy the contents of this keys folder to your own keys


    Follow the instructions in that post and see how you get on.

    If that doesn't work, your image is pretty old so you might want to try the new Blade Quad image that's been released today.

      thanks for the info Devilfish. To put the keys folder onto my dbox do i need a special cable or can i use the one that connects my PC to my modem

        You need a crossover cable m8, the cable for your router may be a straight cable. If you hold up the jack plugs together and look at them...if the colours are in an identicle position then its a straight cable but if they wires are in a different order on each jack then its a crossover. Have a look at the picture below, thats a crossover.

            Thanks Jaffa. Is that what the cable is called [crossover cable] and can i buy it from any computer shop? Got a cable sorted cheers
