    Some more feedback:
My brother has installed it on his Nokia 2x in cw area, Which he says that it is running sweet on both images the only problem he had was the service & bouquets because he is on cw and there where nthell already installed he says that the channels have duplicated he tried to delete them but they come back on a reboot.
So is there anyway to get rid off the duplicates?

Just a idea is there any kind of app that you could install onto the blue button menu to change your service & bouquets to Enigma either manual or automatic has it was a bit difficult for my brother to get his head around as he is a novice at this kind of stuff and as are many. It would make life a lot easier as they are already in the image, it would only be at a press of a button.

Apart from that everything is running how it should.
Just one more thing is there anyway of putting the date on the standby screen with the time on the Enigma image? as the Neutrino as this and is quite handy i have looked all over but cannot find a option to change it.

EDIT: Can you use any emu? or do they need to be compressed as i wanted to try the other emus with this image to see how they preform.

Excellent feedback thanks, m8! We're already looking at the possibility of scripting a menu item that converts and copies the existing neutrino services and bouquets into enigma format and plants them in the correct folder, which is:

      /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/

but this sort of stuff is way over my head, so we'll just have to wait and see if a coding guru is willing to help out on this task...

Meanwhile- yes, you guys in TW and ex-C+W can easily get rid of my ntl pure dupes. I'm assuming you have 'your' ones backed-up on PC, with Bouquet Wizard 3.0 or Dreambox Edit? If you haven't- do this NOW!

You have? The rest is easy:

First, switch to C10d mode, so that enigma is totally comatose and dead...

Then FTP into the /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/ folder and delete everything in there except the 4kb file named config

DO NOT DELETE THIS FILE- or there will be tears!!!

Switch back to SS4.1 mode. Of course, there will be 'No Services Found'. Finally, transfer 'your' stuff back into the image with BW or DE- and Reload Services when told to by these programs- or Reboot.

This isn't the fastest way- but it's the safest!!

Standby LCD (Enigma): I'll have a delve into seeing if adding Day / Date / Month below the Clock is viable in the default Skin. In theory, it should be- but in practice, Enigma doesn't give in without a fight!

      Cheers- AL

Great feedback and 2 good ideas that will be looked into!

First one, we are going to look into this, several have suggested this and would be a very usefull feature to convert the bouquets on the box.

Seccond one, AL will dabble with skins tomorrow, if that doesn't work I'm pretty confident I can mod the code to make it work, so date on the standby should be in the next release!

        Cheers

And a question was asked about "Can you use any emu? or do they need to be compressed as i wanted to try the other emus with this image to see how they perform." - which I forgot to reply to.

Yes, you can. But the enigtrino_upgrade.rar file (dead-linked to in the Release Notes) has just now been updated with the ultra-compressed versions of all three emus, not just evo as originally.

These will also work in the normal C10d release- all for testing and educational purposes only of course. They will not work in ANY other image! So don't get them mixed up with your usual varieties please!

          Cheers- AL

If we can get this to work, m8- no need to wait for next release! It will be in Online Add-ins (and also made available as an update patch for those who cannot have their dbox hooked up to the web, for whatever reasons).

Even if a replacement enigma binary is involved, overwriting the original is now a dead simple operation; you just switch to C10d mode first!!

            Cheers- AL

              File Browser

              Hi Guys,

I installed this image last night. The picture quality on the neutrino image is excellent, but need to ask a couple of questions.

I can't seem to find the file browser - have checked through everything under the blue button menu and also the DBox menu. (Its possible that I might have inadvertantly deleted it when trying to get rid of the lock RC option). Can someone tell me how to access the browser please?

Also, I have yet to get the Enigma image to work, I have never converted bouquets etc. before and wondered if I can simply do a service scan with the Enigma image loaded instead and then manually sort the channels.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Just sort your channels out on Commando
inport them in Nutrino format with bow k wizzard
Blue button on remote change to SS enigma
Then Export the same files back with bow k wizzard
                This time Enigma format
                Destination =var/tuxbox/config/enigma
And that should sort you out
Turner123 has done a vid tut and its again Exellant .........Paul

By 'File Browser'- I take it you mean Tuxbox Commander? It's not in Enigtrino by default, but easy enough to add in as a plugin. It will then work in both C10d and SS4.1 modes.

In fact, if you can hook up your dbox to the web (via your router), then just switch to Enigma mode and download / install it via the UkCvs Extras Menu!!

                  Cheers- AL
