No On demand channels on Dbox2

I have scanned for channels countless times but the on demand channels are not coming. What should i do? Or do i need to put some files in? thanks

The On Demand channels are VOD / Red button stuff, which requires two-way handshaking. As the dBox doesn't have 'Talk-Back' - you won't see such channels in the Scan, and never will.

So any On Demand you want to watch will have to be via your subbed box, and paid for!

u may be lucky enough to scan during the time someone local (same node) has paid for an on-demand film......have to be lucky though or keep sectionscan on and keep looking.....

what kind of sport is on? I also recieve this channel but never watch it.
As PaphosAl and Metman have explained On-Demand Movies work on talk back and even though you can write the channels into your service and buquet files there is little to no chance you will be ever able to watch anything on them and they are not listed with EPG and are available as a sort of real-time download and are not looped the way the old movie channels used to be.

but tbf with all the movie channels we get why do you want more?
