Dbox2 flashed with correct settings, but still no channels? Help please!

Ok here i go, i brought a dbox from a mate a couple of years
ago. The dbox worked fine for a year, then went off, So i didnt bother with it. Took it out recently and thought id give it a bash.

I used ifa and flashed the dbox to the new commando 10 image from the old image on there which was commando 6. Worked like a charm first time round. - Great!

Next i transferred the relevant files to /var/keys and /var/scce folders, although i must say the /var/scce folder was a shortcut to the /var/keys folder and anytime i double clicked it, it would take me to the /var/keys folder and any files i tranferred to the scce folder were dupicated to the keys folder and vice versa. (dunno if thats how its suppose to be)

I then set my location by pressing the blue button e.t.c.
Next i done a service scan and the dbox found 303 transponders and came back with over 350'ish channels. (At this point i was thinking, wow how easy) Once the scan was completed i reset my cam just incase any problems occured.

After that i left my dbox on sky sports 1 and rebooted. But still no channels show apart from the fta (1-5). I also updated the services and bouquets according to my area (leicester) found on this website. But Still no luck?

What am i doing wrong, if anything? I would appreciate any
help people will give and a big thanks in advance.

Did you transfer the emu to var/bin/emu?

The emu was already there mate, and to be honest i did think of changing the emu but it was the only
thing i could not find anywhere? can you point me on where to find one?

Did you change the emu,s attributes to 755?
If not then go to var/bin/emu right click on evocamd or whatever emu you are using go down to attributes left click on it and change it to 755.then press ok then reboot your box resart the cam then stick on sly sports until it clears.

thanks for your speedy reply mate. I already changed the attributes to 755 after reading it else where on the forum.

I can defo give it another go, how long would u suggest i keep the channel on sky sports 1 until it clears? because i kept it on there quite a while, but all i got a was a fully epg and black screen.

is evocamd the best emu to use?

It should only take about 5 Min's to clear no longer.
I have always used evocamed it seams to work well with the auto update. What emu are you using?

Are you sure you have the up to date keys?

I am also stucked up here similar to creationuk. I have check emu and permission etc all looks fine. I dont whats wrong. Can any one guide us plsss

I also have the evocamd emu.

The keys i used were downloaded from rapidshare using a link found on this forum. They were from the rar file called ''dreambox_stuff''

it contained keylists and nagra rom files, 10,11 and the new nagrarom7.bin file

any more ideas?

I downloaded the files you pointed me to, and done what that member did and hey presto! it worked.
