Got Dbox settings right, but scan giving only 80 odd channels..pls help

i have got new keys, bouquets and services is fine, evocam has been selected. location has been set and saved. fast scan turn off but still i am getting only 80 fta odd channels. Please help! i have done all i could think of.

so you are only getting fta channels, are these viewable? Do you have any subbed channels in your bouquets?

when i changed old roms to new roms, i was able to watch the channels, not all of them.but i do have some channels like sky scr33n 1 & 2 which played. but upon scanning i get only 80 instead of 350 + channels.

could be signal fault if you only get 80 chnls
put a channel service file in for your area

press red then blue you will see your signal ion there

set ur location correctly b4 scanning?

got a back up of ur img that had 350 channels on?

put it on a working FTA channel, press red button and post your sign readings - SNR , BER, etc.

checked the sign readings as you suggested, the bitrate was 0 , then suddenly started working. did the scan but i ain't getting ski sport 1,2,extra.

i'm having problems with my nokia dbox2. i think mine is more severe though. when i go to channel scan page, under 'frequency' it say's- 'internal error, please report'. for 'area' it say's 'kabel deutschland'. i have changed my location to 'nw, preston', also i have tried all the new codes, tried new scan, tried everything i can physically try. everytime i enter new info and reboot, it goes back to the above. i don't know how to link dbox2 upto my pc, so i can't do any more than use remote control. is there anyone in the preston area who is capable of repairing this box as my next move could be to aim for my lounge window . i only get the normal tv channels, i'm in telepest area.

the cables.xml is wrong if you're getting 'kabel deutschland' - it'd be easier to reflash a newer image

i don't have a clue how to re-flash a new image. do you know anyone in the preston area who can?

Dload this there is a guide on how to flash your dbox and a the program you need to connect your box to your pc also you will need a x over cable. If you have any problems then just ask.
