    changing channel on a cable box in a diff room

    hi guys does anyone no if theres any way of changing a channel on a dbox two thats in a different room. is there any magic eyes that work with it.?

    There's plenty of remote extenders you can buy. something like this...

      Some info here.



      Id you want to find more posts then use the search button and just put in "wireless sender" or similar


      the 5.8mhz ones will not interfere with other wireless things like the wii.

        i thought all the cable boxes use irda and not ir.?

            not sure if can on dbox but should think so, i got my itgate box connected to a router and can change channel from my laptop.

              You can if the dbox is networked using yweb.

                      just type your box,s ip into browser


                      there is allso a programe called {dbox remote} to use from pc if networked

                        sorry i may sound daft here but if the dbox is networked and i type the ip address into ma web browser wot will that let me do exactly?
