dbox2 no power

hi everyone this is my first post
, so here goes i have just bought a nokia dbox2 off ebay for ?15 it was sold as faulty and seller says it does not power up. any thoughts guys as i dont have the money to buy a new box cheers

all u can do is dismantle the PSU look for any blown caps - also i think there's a glass fuse.

However, if they've tried to replace the LCD and turned it on without it connected - it can brick it.

there's other boxes u can get brand new for around ?50 that do the same job
