ok hi all
since last night i have lost all channels on my dbox and i have flashed it with a new img but when i reboot box it loads up the old img andromeda v2.0 as i am only getting fta what path do i have to go down to get my box back to whats its ment to do? thanks

Have you checked your cable feed? Is your sub box still working if you have one? Sorry i miss read you still get FTA channels, so it must be a k#y or emu problem.

Try and restart your emu the put on a scrambled channel to see if it clears.

When you flashed the new image did you save it with the remote before you rebooted?

Try this delete the k#ys file then input a new set. If you need some then give us a shout.

If you flashed with a new image and are still getting the old image then either you are not flashing correctly or you are flashing the old image back onto it.
Does your dbox2 actually say "flashing" when you flash?

ok 1st whats a sub box?
my cable feed is fine.
and i dont know if i saved it i just let the img asstiant do its thing and then retstarted it tyhe box and scanned it and found all channles but can only watch fta gona give the key 1 a try

sub box is your original box ,if you flashed a new image ,i take it you saved the keys from your old one???

yeh it says it all even comes up with ferta or summat at the end with a load of smile faces

That means that it as flashed ok, but if you get the same image on then you must be flashing the same image to your box.

i dont have that img on my pc it was a mate that flashed my dboxs before i only have the commando10 img thats all so i am officialy confused more than before now

i am useing ifa but hve a feelin u was right the 1st time about useing an old img so i am gona try again now that i have dl commando 10 again

ok i was wrong i was re-flashing with old img my bad and now have flashed my dbox with commando 10d now i need to put the magic files into place but am a bit confused at this bit as to where to put them i have thses 3 files but dont no where the go

var_keys....
not to sure where to place these so would love some help plz

You need to connect to your box using flashfxp. you can get it here>>>Digital Kaos - Downloads - FlashFxp

The file marked emu go into var/bin/emu, these files need chomd to 755
The file marked k#ys go into var/k#ys
