Be very careful with boxes from UK sellers. If the description reads vague and/or the seller is claiming not to have a clue how to get his box working properly, then I'd tend to steer clear of it.

If on the other hand he claims the box is working perfectly and that he's selling coz he's moved to a non-cable area, or has bought a Dreambox PVR or similar, then it might be worth a punt.

As an example of an honest UK Seller, Man of Science will now state his reason why he's selling his dbox!! And if it's a Nokia, you might want to PM him!

Tanks for that Bulldog i was going to buy me a another dbox any but not a Sagem as i have had loads of problems with mine freezing all the time.
Would the eurovox not be good for me to buy to stop all the freezing i am getting at the mo ?

Eurovox is good for plug n play but you can do much more with a dbox.Had my nokia for over 3 years and never had any probs m8

For just tv a eurovox ex1000sl or 5100 pvr are very easy to set up.

if i reflash my old image with this one do i need to do anything else to dbox or will it work after ive reflashed new image

Ok guys i have flashed over Commando with Laky sylas which went ok , can somebody just confirm which folders the magic folders go into.

I have loaded Commando,used the magic files,set my location,but can only get free to air channels and i have even changed the number to 755.
Epg is working fine on all channels , done a reboot and left it on sky sports 1 but still a blank screen , what next guys thanks.
